Mr. Proteus
(the Elephant Man skull)

This is a representation of Proteus Syndrome and its effects on the human skull. Inspired by the skull of John Merrick, the Elephant Man, this model was created by taking a casting from a normal skull and reforming it. The calcified tumors and nodules were sculpted using reference from the Merrick skull. The skull measures 9"L x 8"W x 11"H.
